Traditional craftsmanship with the brush

In the WELTRAD manufactur the traditional lining by hand is cultivated and practised. This way every WELTRAD bicycle is a unique and personal rarity.

The lining, which is done by hand with a special brush, is applied to mudguards, rims and the chain guard. In one single movement the artist paints the line on the component. Such a procedure requires skill, experience and intense concentration because just a split second of inattentiveness can ruin the work of the whole component.

This gentle ivory lining on mudguards, rims and the chain guard are indispensable and unique – from the 1930s until now!
